Why should someone trust a 22, fresh 22-year-old with a vote in the Texas legislature?

So, first of all, I just like people to keep in mind that maybe I'm not how they were when they were 22.

Maybe I'm not as wild.

No, no, no. It's important that we have experience and people who have lived a full life in the legislature.

But at the same time, whenever you have experience or somebody who's been there for a long time, there comes with a fog with that wisdom and the fog that tells us this is all we are, this is all we can be.

We have to work in these confines.

Why are you running for House District 20? Because I could talk about education, healthcare, workers' rights, but at the end of the day, I don't see a future for people my age, for my friends, for my family.

And whatever happens, we need to make sure that people's livelihoods are protected.

Whatever goes on with AI, we need to make sure that people have the means to survive.

And we have to make sure that there is somebody backing the people who... have not yet started their careers or are just beginning them.

Because right now in Texas, most of them are retired or they're a lawyer, they own their own practice, they're a doctor.
