How did you get here?

Yeah, that's a good question, really.

So basketball wasn't a first love for me or anything by any stretch.

In fact, sport really wasn't...

I never thought that sport was ever gonna be a reality for me.

I thought I was a decent athlete, but it was never something I really identified with.

And to be honest with you, Anthony, I didn't really have an identity growing up outside just being the tall guy, I guess.

Mm.

Okay.

And then I played in the off seasons over in Europe as well.

Played in Asia for a stint there.

Obviously I played for the, um, well, not obviously, I played for the Australian national team, so I, I was...

I've actually got a crazy story about that too, trying to like, like it all sounds good, like it was sort of like a linear progression, but it was actually, um, yeah [chuckles], it wasn't that at all.

So I went to, so I, when I went down to AIS, I was, I'd just gotten better, right? And I was going against, um, I, I, we lived with like all the best basketball players in the country.

And within my class that were there, there were three NBA players and four Olympians that went there.

What kind of work are you doing now? You're doing finan- are you finance work? What is that?
