You knew what the incumbents did, you knew what they didn't do, you knew what tools and technology you had available to you, how to create multi-tenant SaaS, how to create mobile applications, how to use a series of APIs and integrations, and then you would go solve a new problem.

Relatively straightforward, incredibly oversimplifying the fact of how hard it is to build something from scratch.
