Do you feel like you guys have carried over momentum from Saturday into tonight?

Yeah, I think we're finding our game and, uh, you know, it's early on in the season, it's important for us to set the standard for our group and, um, it's been, uh, you know, a great couple days here.

Everyone's putting it, uh, in a great effort and, uh, we're looking to k- continue to do that.

What are the keys going up against Matthews, Marchenko, Nylander, and Tavares?

Yeah, they got a lot of skill.

We just gotta put in a good effort.

Um, you know, be smart, play, uh, play with some poise and, um, you know, battle hard.

What was this first summer as an NHL-er like for you?

Um, I think it was, you know, obviously great to be home.

And, uh, I mean, it di- doesn't really change much for me whether, whether I was in college or juniors or now playing here.

It's a similar schedule.

And, uh, just trying to, I think, kind of ramp things up to make sure that I was, uh, ready to come into this year.

And, um, you know, there's a lot of games left and I'm looking to, you know, continue to try to show that I can help this team win.

Now that you're on the penalty kill, what's it like to do that in the NHL for the first time?

Yeah, I think it's, it's difficult and, uh, you know, I'm doing my best to, um, you know, learn as I go and, and at the same time, you know, every penalty kill is important, and I have a job to do.
