I would go, I would, obviously I'd say the Whitsundays.

It's a, it's a group of islands, um, north of, north of Brisbane, and it's an absolute sort of tropical paradise.

It's like something out of a Hollywood movie.

I mean, we did, uh, we took a boat out with some friends around the islands and it's just breathtaking.

It's like, you know, nowhere else on earth.

Well, the crystal clear water, the sand, um, the, the fish life, it's just beautiful and it's protected.

[laughs] Had you been to a rainforest before?

Yeah.

So then we proceed to start chatting, um, for about an hour, hour and a half, and he's asking me all these questions, and I'm answering them, I think very honestly.

And he kind of, you know, he'd ask me these very, very pointed questions, and I would answer them.

He went, "Hmm, I suspect you've never told your parents that, have you?" I went, "No, I haven't." "Hmm." So anyway, so he's there.

He's nursing this gin and tonic.

He said, um, "I'd like another drink.

Would you like a drink?" I went, "Yeah." I look at his gin and tonic.

After getting off to a flying start, things went a bit pear-shaped for Matt yesterday when he mislaid-

So I did a week on that, and I thought nothing of it.

And then the show went out, and we got a big spike in customers and stuff like that, so that was good.

And then we had a, we had a really bad Christmas.

January came, and then snow kept coming again, and there were bills to pay.

And I remember just every single phone call was a cancellation.

And we were at that point where I thought, "I don't know how we're gonna pay the bills this month." And then out the blue, we had a phone call from somebody at Optimum TV, and she said, "We're doing this new show.

I mean, would you ever open another restaurant?
