What do you feel like you've done to continue to get promoted internally?

It ties a little bit back to some of that advice on risk, but more the idea of resilience and sort of flexibility.

So my first internship was straight communications.

But the interview that I had with the company was for an events position, because that's what was available.

It was an opportunity that came through the Big Ten conference office because of Northwestern's affiliation and the tie to the Citrus Bowl.

And so I got my resume in, was interviewing with the events team, and they did like a cross departmental interview process.

So the comms director at the time got on with me and then basically pulled me out of the candidate pool because he had his own position that he needed to fill.

And Matt, what are you most proud of since joining the organization over 21 years ago?
