So where did the idea come from originally to launch the Nevada Shakespeare Festival?
12:12
Well, there have been in the past different groups who have done similar things.
12:17
There was a group out of Los Angeles that came here to present Shakespeare, I think like in the 90s and the early 2000s.
12:22
There was another sort of Las Vegas Shakespeare Institute produced some plays.
12:27
But it sort of came out of this place where we started in a group called Shotspear and we would produce Shakespeare in bars for people who didn't want to see Shakespeare.
12:36
So there was always this drive for me to create and adapt these plays for people who have no interest in them.
12:43
I think they're wonderful plays and amazing plays.
13:55
So you mentioned working with the school district and some other stuff, but tell us a little bit more about the educational events that you do throughout the year.
30:40
Am I right in saying that you were initially booked to debut in WWE as Kane's brother, Abel?
30:45
Abel?Okay, let me fix this.
30:50
So I did say this on an interview with Chris Van Vliet 'cause it was true, but that wasn't my very first character that this was gonna be.
30:56
This was...
30:58
This is how crazy this, that situation was.
31:01
They, they wanted me, when Brock Lesnar c- well, before Brock Lesnar quit, Nathan Jones, my tag team partner, quit.
31:08
Nathan and I were supposed to win w- I'm not joking.
33:58
Mm-hmm
82:10
one thing westmore's got going for him is he's pretty telegenic he's got a good smile you know he's good at sort of the retail end of politics but this was an angry westmore there wasn't a whole lot of smiling going on there i felt like he was lecturing me i don't think that plays very well
82:26
Well, Westmore is a very good actor.
82:28
I mean, he can unload a line, a rehearsed line that someone else has wrote probably better than – he's probably the best politician since Obama to do that.
82:37
But when you ask him a follow-up question, it's very empty.
82:40
There's not a lot of substance behind that.
82:42
And take the little clip that you played just for people listening, the lead-in here.
82:48
Basically, he's saying that if you disagree with – you want the pornography out of the schoolroom, well, then you're a nationalist.
87:11
What's the case to be made against Westmore?
3:25
So Matt Morgan, what are some of your resilience routines? Things that help to keep you sane during the times when you may feel a little tempted to not
3:35
be? It depends.
3:39
It depends on where it's coming from.
3:42
And if it's something that's causing me that mental stress, my release is definitely the gym.
3:46
It is definitely riding bikes around the block with my son, Jackson, or being on the ice with him or being on the baseball field with him.
3:54
And lastly, what I said earlier, actually, and I just realized that I was saying it to you, ironically, Mike, is that when I'm helping other people, when I'm helping other people get their lives back, again, nothing, nothing can hurt me there.
4:09
Nothing.
4:31
So helping other people has become your new painkiller.
18:14
From the minor leagues to the major leagues.
18:16
There you go.
18:17
Perfectly said.
18:18
And I don't want to miss my chance.
18:19
I'm not going to miss my opportunity and have somebody else take my spot because I wasn't ready because of a dumb injury.
18:25
Well, slowly but surely I started, um, uh, seeing guys in the locker room, you know, when one of the guys would come in with some painkillers, they like shake it up and everybody would like follow the guy into a room and go get, yeah, it's like a Pied Piper.
18:41
It was crazy.

22 MINS LATER

41:03
Now, once you rebounded, once you're now clean, what in your head got you to say, I need to now start leaning into doing something else with my life?
