So on YouTube, we've got this, uh, acoustic version of Step Up the Morphine.

[audience cheering] Don't know if you've seen it.

Just a little fun fact we realized, the opening track on this, uh, new self-titled record is called El Alamein.

[audience cheering] And, um, there's a famous fountain in Kings Cross where Mason and I used to live for a while, and, um, it's called the El Alamein Fountain.

... thank you for that.

These stories is literally, as I've gotten, as I've gotten older, um, it's stories like that is, that's the reason why I do music.

You know, when we do, when we have meet and greets and, you know, uh, whether it'll be a, you know, a k- a kid in Dundee or, or, you know, a guy in his mid-40s in, uh, in Bristol or something like that.

[laughs]

... with a friend who's like good at like file management and stuff like that.

So like, but um, yeah, we did it at our studio in Glebe and it took longer than usual.

Um, but it's been really rewarding.

We actually went over to San Fran to work with a producer and, um, it didn't really work.

Like it was cool, but it was like it's not really working.

'Cause it's about our fifth album, we, we really know what we want to hear.

Definitely seen it.

... and writing together.

Yeah.

And I think you can hear that more.

This album is very personal to us in the sense that we- The, the two albums that we've self-produced were our first album and this, th-this latest album.

Um, and it- we had help f-from our friend Lach Bowstock, who plays in a band called Mansionaire.

He helped us with the, with the newest album.

But, um, yeah, it, it, um, it did...
