What's going on?

No, earliest, earlier this week we announced that the EDA had received another state grant, about $126,000, to assist with that project.

And, and the biggest assist was in the tear-down of that, and so, uh, the developer has told us that it's their plans to get moving with that.

I think they're removing some asbestos from that, um, building right now, and, and it's their goal within the, the next two to three weeks to tear that building down.

And so come later this fall, maybe closer to Thanksgiving, Main Street's gonna look a lot, a lot different.

We're expecting that building to come down, and then hopefully, uh, redevelopment of that site probably taking place, uh, next spring or, or in a year or two.

A lot of, you know, a lot of factors go into that.
