yeah so some will die you know if they're if they're a bit weak anyway um but then you get uh things like tick pyemia which is just normal skin bugs And if they get injected as the tick feeds, and then the animal has tick-borne fever, these normal skin bugs that the sheep normally deals with quite effectively get spread around the body and can cause really serious abscesses all over the place.

So you then get the Cumbrian farmers called triples.

So these are lambs that came off the hill.

with absolutely terrible abscesses in their joints.

And that was just the tick pyemia spreading around and forming abscesses in the joints.

And a lot of these would die on the hill and never be seen again.
