Okay.
4:47
I bring her in, and she's like, "This feels like Halo.
4:50
This is it." So that was an early just like, ah, sigh from me.
4:53
Because it's gotta feel like Halo.
4:56
It can look beautiful, it can look modern, it can look brand new.
4:59
It's so great to hear you say that, but it's gotta feel like Halo.
5:01
And that's part of building the foundation as we go forward and really look forward to what's next for Halo.
5:59
Yeah, yeah.
1:17
Mm-hmm.
1:17
And so, uh, I've had a really cool opportunity to get out and spend time with students, um, in a few different forums.
1:23
DigiPen was kind enough to invite me to give a commencement address.
1:28
A, a cool moment for me just to see people that are starting their journey in games and, um, also the fact that there's a place like DigiPen that exists, right? You can go get a degree in so many parts of making a game.
1:40
I also got to spend time at Stanford and talk to a class that, uh, deals with leadership and entertainment.
1:45
Uh, fascinating that they had a lot of questions about what we're doing in TV and movie and film, which was cool.
1:51
And then, uh, spent time at USC, so we're pretty involved in their games program.

6:59
So how do you look a- across all of that and then make decisions for our portfolio and release, releases?
6:44
It's just a lot that you would assume people are kind of working in their own creative bubbles because everything's very specializing in, in what they're really focused on, but that's actually not the case.
6:55
No. Um, it is the case that we have got a lot of different kinds of studios and they've all got their own cultures.
7:02
We think about it as a culture of cultures.
7:04
Um, I see a big part of my job is to provide just enough connection and just enough structure across those that, um, they can communicate with each other, that they can share things back and forth, but never to the point that we're coming in over the top trying to change who they are.
7:22
But we've really, um, seen a lot and once we build those connections, of teams starting to share things with each other.
7:28
So, uh, our team in Vancouver, The Coalition, uh, they are really our center of excellence for Unreal Engine work, and that is benefiting the teams, for example, at Brian Fargo's studio and inXile working on Clockwork Revolution.
7:42
They're able to benefit from all of the really technical work that they're doing up at the, uh, Coalition.
