I mean, apparently they're very, very open and exposed to, to transitions, I think.

Matt AveryGUEST
Um, they-- by the looks of things in terms of their overall play, they aren't very direct.

Matt AveryGUEST
I think if, um, in term- if you're talking off the ball as well for them, okay, if they, if they want to be compact, great.

It's-- I want to say it's a little bit like it's very, very high risk, high reward, and that makes it good because we're so successful at it as well.

Matt AveryGUEST
We're so successful at, at carrying out what we do and, um, the, with the, with the pressing and the committing bodies into the box.

Uh, well, first of all, I think this is one of the first times I've been able to say this and genuinely mean it, that I've missed watching my club, missed watching my team, and over the last couple years, you come back from an international break, it's like, "Oh, this rubbish again." It's like...

Matt AveryGUEST
In fact, to be fair, not even just last year, our form has just been insanely inconsistent over the last couple years.

Matt AveryGUEST
But I feel like we're, we're starting to pick up some, some consistency with results, with performances especially.

Matt AveryGUEST
I mean, even in the one loss so far this season, isn't it? One loss against Chelsea, we were, we were fine in that game.

Ryan AdsettHOST
I, I'm, I'm not saying we necessarily need him at this stage of the game, but, like, let's be honest, it's, it's really strange how these players always seem to get setbacks when they're only supposed to be missing for a couple of weeks.

He's got an unbelievable... sort of track record in front of goal he looks very good in front of goal he's obviously got a decent penalty record um very strong sort of brute force very relentless uh big tall player um and he's someone that i quite like the look of don't get me wrong but as i said you know losing welbeck is big you know you're coming into the side and you're now expected to score 10 plus goals you know are you ready to go and score 10 plus goals are you ready to be the next sort of big striker for Brighton this season because you know I've said this before we kind of expect it now we have to have Vuskovic step up immediately we have to have promised David step up immediately we may even be banking on Zadok Johanna to come in and make an appearance sooner rather than later Ibrahim Osman maybe called on sooner rather than he maybe would have wanted which you know it's all well and good it's part of the the for sick or the contingency plan or the way that we like to have a constant flow of young players that go on to become worth a lot of money but I feel like in the past we had a little bit more sort of readiness for them we were enabling them to sort of you know take a bit of a calmness they didn't have too much pressure they could come into the side they could sort of slowly build up whereas now it's a bit more like no we need you immediately and you simply have to perform because we are in you know serious competitions now we apparently want to go for winning the conference league which on yesterday's evidence we've got a fair way to go before we even qualify for the conference league so um and i don't know i just feel like the the sort of public aims and objectives seem to kind of clash a little bit

Matt AveryGUEST
yeah 100 i think with david i i think he has a bit of the the i'm him about it if you go i mean yeah In terms of...

Matt AveryGUEST
For example, I think he's got a really, really good fit for the Premier League in terms of physique, in terms of athleticism, in terms of...

Matt AveryGUEST
I wouldn't say he was reliant on low quality goals in terms of deflections, in terms of second balls.
