From your perspective, would you say that, uh, TPD claims through default super funds are generally more difficult to qualify for than, uh, a private cover?

Yeah, it's a, it's a, it's a really interesting question and an interesting area to delve into.

We see default policies as the predominant variety of insurance cover for Australians.

In fact, the federal government implemented this through My Super years ago to ensure that that under insurance gap was, was fixed up and, and closed.

A more recently legislative changes has actually restricted that again.

But nonetheless, as you mentioned, seventy-one percent of Australians have that, that default level of cover, and that default level of cover is usually a modest amount.

It's usually an untailored amount that doesn't specifically address the needs of the individual.

Does having a preexisting medical condition automatically prevent someone from making a successful TPD claim, in particular on a retail policy?

yeah and everything changed um yeah it's cool though because i saw you like whenever you're not on tour you can play a few shows with uh uh flesh prison

Yeah, we try to.

I feel so bad, dude.

We keep getting offered shows, and the guy's like, can we do this? And I'm like, I'm gone.

So we're trying to find a couple different fill-ins, and I think we have, so the guys will be able to do more.

yeah that's that's one of them he's the best we got Alex um there's this other guy that we're uh we've been trying out too he's just he's just a good hang in general which is really important as you know yeah um that's probably the most important part yeah and he plays better than me too so I'm like fuck yeah there you go yeah um And it's kind of always been in the place where if we can find a drummer who can do things more full-time, he can take my place and I'll switch to bass if I can play live.

So he feels like he gets to, you know, make your life a little bit more difficult.
