Um, so she was having a party, it was a fancy dress party, right? And I, I, I loved the idea of a fancy dress party, and I really desperately wanted to go, but I wasn't invited.

Um, but, uh, one of my friends miraculously managed to set me up with this girl, Donna, in school, right? I'd never had a girlfriend at this point, but it was, like, one of those relationships where you say hi in the playground and then don't speak to each other.

So through this new relationship, right, that I am now apparently in, I got an invite to this party, and I, I'm, I'm buzzing, right? I'm really excited.

So I've gone home to my mum and I've said, "Mum, look, I've been invited to a party.
