I'm curious a little bit more about your background and specifically with Special Olympics, because I know you have a background in the military, but just tell us a little bit how you ended up at Special Olympics and sort of a little bit about your journey within the organization.

Sure.

I started my career in the Navy as a naval aviator.

I was a naval flight officer, went to the Naval Academy and then went to flight school immediately after that.

And it was probably in flight school that I first started feeling this itch.

I grew up in a very small town in Maryland where everybody sort of, you know, knew each other.

I had gone to the Naval Academy, which was, you know, one big community.

It's a very interesting idea.
