Let's get a little rundown about you, your journey as an artist, where songwriting began.

Um, so I grew up with parents who both play music.

Um, but I grew up on the east coast of New South Wales and my mum was in a covers band, um, called Rock Chick and they, yeah, covers of all kinds of things from Annie Lennox to, um, Aretha Franklin.

And then she also made her own music.

So we went and like watched her play at like Tamworth Country Music Festival.

She made sort of country folk music.
