not only leading by example but holding guys to a standard and upholding that standard at all times

What's it like playing football in Hattiesburg?

It means everything to play football in Hattiesburg.

I mean, from the community feeling like a family to the support systems to teammates.

Like when I got here at Davis, they've all just brought me along.

It just made me feel at home.

Well, on those same lines, what are you studying at Southern Miss? And what are you trying to do to get yourself prepared, not only for football, but also for a career after football?

I major in sports management.

And the things that I'm doing to prepare myself for this season are make sure that I'm mentally prepared, physically prepared, and things of that nature.

After looking at last year, seeing where I can improve and things of that nature.

And then also outside of football, just Being conscious of where I'm at.

You know, football doesn't last forever.

Seeing the things that I want to do and just using this time now, especially where I have a lot of resources to help me get to where I want to go.
