So how do you make the decision that it's London City Lionesses next?

I think you hear proposals and you hear people's ambitions and visions and London City for me were really strong throughout all the conversations and every time I spoke to them I wanted to hear more and then To be honest, by the time it came to making the decision, it was really quite clear that I felt like this was the perfect place for me to continue to learn, develop, challenge myself and max out on every last bit of ability, potential that I've got in the locker left.

i like like the idea of leaning into sort of whatever you're feeling at the time i think there's a real super strength if you can do that but with self-awareness be like this is why i feel that way

[laughs]

I learnt a lot from you guys about how to advocate, maybe how to, like, word things or, like, who to speak to, and I think, um...

I remember a, a lot of things about, like, little stories here and there of us having to fight for, for things, and remember you guys giving us as a team a lot of confidence, um, to be like, "No," like, "you can say this isn't acceptable.

You can say, 'No, this is what we think is fair.

This is what is deemed as reasonable.'" And prior to that, I'll be honest, I, I think, I, I feel like we met at a really nice point in my career where I was kind of, I think, figuring out, or I was s- really fig- had figured out a little bit, like, who I was as a person, coming to Man United after living away in Germany and coming back, and then a lot of things that kind of happened, obviously, with the national team and not being in the setup.

And so it gave me a lot more time to be like, "Okay, who do I wanna be on and off the pitch?" And it helped me develop my leadership skills a lot.

... what are the goals realistically for- for this season with, uh, London City?

I think as a, as a collective, it's obviously about being as competitive as possible.
