Well, I was born in London, UK, and then my mom came to Canada because she didn't want us growing up in London.

She came from Jamaica, actually, so I'm Jamaican background, but I've never been to Jamaica.

And I usually don't tell people why, but the reason is it's one of the most homophobic places on the planet.
