You've had like half... 199 you know thumbs up 83 comments in the comments you know and it's the linkedin algorithm it feeds on it 20 re-shares and this was a big deal i heard about it on you know npro pb and in oregon so do you want to talk about this case yeah my case
19:00
um it's it's strange so i i wrote a book in 2015 called negotiating the technocracy and i always talk about how people have two reactions to the new technology waves i've been doing technology um you know it's from the beginning of my career at american airlines i actually work with saver technology group those were the people who programmed the uh flight reservation system at american airlines and Every new technology, it's either overtrusted, seen as a religion, or like a god, or totally paranoid, it's going to kill me.
19:37
Every single technology, and AI is the latest.
19:40
So you have two camps, people who think it is magical, and it's trustworthy, and it's just like a human.
19:50
And I'll tell you reasons why it's not, in my opinion.
19:55
But... you have attorneys who are and every attorney if you look at the comments from other attorneys are like these guys are just lazy because as an attorney you check your sites you um proofread everything and you wouldn't even think about getting it before a judge but these attorneys who are whatever their motivation is i'm out of time one of the attorneys was a pro hoc vj attorney that means an attorney from another jurisdiction who is allowed to argue a case in the courts of oregon um And they were sanctioned because they have this trust in technology like it's magic, like it's something different.
20:36
And it is just a tool.

And so the attorneys are probably like, you know what, they gave me two hours to do something that I can't get done in two hours.
