How do you feel about going in and changing a golf course like Royal Liverpool or some of the others, Birkdale? Yeah.

Yeah, it's a sensitive issue.

And obviously it comes into the focus every year when the Open comes to one of those great venues.

Birkdale was work with my partner, Tom McKenzie, and our younger colleague, Mike Howard, who's a member of Birkdale.

I was responsible for the changes at Royal Liverpool.

And yeah, it's got to be a balance.

You've got to respect the traditions of the club.

From a technological design standpoint, how do you keep track and to what extent does technology now – facilitate and how do you use it? How has that changed in your 25, 30 years of design?
