lasted about eight years and I was just lucky enough to play competitive sport.
2:13
And there was an opportunity to kind of leave teaching, start my own business and be a part-time amateur athlete at the same time.
2:21
So I kind of jumped on that opportunity.
2:23
But when I left teaching, I didn't just start one business.
2:26
I started two.
2:28
So I started an early years physical education business for children.
4:49
That's not that complex.

11:29
yes i'm
11:30
getting knowledge and yes i'm having conversations back and forth um with with my a high but the reality is i'm not getting new human domain expertise i'm not getting somebody give me their perspective or challenge me on my perspective or give me you know some wisdom i absolutely love when you're talking to someone who's got you know subject matter expert and they give you some wisdom on that subject matter or just generally anything in life right like i just think That ability we have, I believe, probably lost in the online space that likely faced COVID pandemic around the world.
12:10
And we were so consumed with being efficient and being online and, oh, I can connect with you via WhatsApp or I can connect with you via, you know, video recording.
12:21
And, you know, I can send you a little Snapchat or whatever.
12:23
Like we were... we definitely increased our communication, but we didn't increase our communication in terms of, you know, really going deep and being present with each other.
12:34
It was all just, oh, I've got a WhatsApp.
12:35
I'll be doing something else.

Help us help our listeners picture like an ordinary day, like the small, recognizable, mini moments where exactly did that friction used to live? And what does it now look like for you, for your company, that AI is now quietly handling the parts that used to kind of consume, unnecessarily consume more and more hours?
2:11
Okay.
2:12
And I think what can maybe help the audience understand a little bit is an analogy that I've been using recently called the doctor analogy.
2:22
So I want us to imagine that we have opened up, let's go with ChatGPT.
2:27
So we've opened up ChatGPT and we just go to new chat and we start chatting away.
2:33
Now, obviously it's artificial intelligence.
2:35
It's very smart.
2:36
It can do a lot of things for us.

Are you or is someone else? Exactly.

11:36
um ai is definitely in in that bracket you also mentioned the ethics i'm really pleased you mentioned that because i still work with see a lot of people who are using a free version of claw or jack ppt or co-pilots again just at a high level why should that be a concern and from a from a safety point of view what should people be thinking about in terms of how they use ai
12:01
Yeah, there's a lot there as well.
12:03
And before I quickly go into that, it's worth noting that ethically, we need to know what energy resources each model is using and how much context they're using as well.
12:13
Because I think that's a big kind of a big field for some people.
12:17
They want to be able to use it sustainably.
12:19
So it's important to know the difference.
12:20
But to come back to your initial question, ethical use for me is sustainable.

Have you got any tips for how I might gently start getting comfortable with AI and how I might use it?

6:47
Don't you think that it's kind of taking away people's jobs?
6:51
Um, short answer right now is no.
6:55
I think any business that gets rid of the human in replace of an AI is silly.
7:00
I think they're not thinking longer picture.
7:03
I think at this point in time, the ca- capabilities of the AI is they always need a human in the loop.
7:09
Even if you're creating agents, there's gotta be a human that creates the agents.
7:12
There's gotta be a human that fine-tunes.
