because very often you find people that don't know what they don't know so they're willing to invest in a different sport i.e soccer football but they don't really understand the full process so steve's role there is critical for me to go that i'll probably bang on the door far too many times as he will tell you but it's important that we keep pushing the standards um but no it is exciting but you're always aware lee that it's a responsibility for the city as steve said it's a It's bringing pro women's soccer here, pro men's soccer.

And we have to make sure we deliver a good product.

She's come in and her first head coaching role has been very successful.

What are you looking for then from the players that you're bringing into Sporting Jacksonville?

How tough is that to be on the other end of it when it's a bad run of results and you're facing the likes of Hugh and I? I've always wondered, you know, how difficult is it emotionally for you guys?

Yeah, it is difficult and they're the more frustrating interviews, I think, John, really.

I remember we were sitting at QPR and we had played the best football and we could not score.

There's one game, I think, Bristol City, we lost to a penalty and we had 27 attempts on goal, 70-odd percent possession and we lose the game.

And you're so devastated for the players and for the fan base.

And you think, well, surely the owners, they'll see that we're dominating games here.

But as you say, that's your opinion.

But Mark, what's it like with the press officer, that relationship before you go into a press conference or post-match interview? Do you have a chat with someone to prepare what you might want to say and what the messages might be? Or did you or do you like to go in just with your own thoughts?
