How do you convince Texans worried about the cost of living that they shouldn't try something else and vote Democrat and that they should stick with Republicans?
31:35
Listen, it's a great question, and I care deeply about the cost of living in my district in Texas, 21.
31:41
And I would just go back to the four years under Joe Biden and look at the policies that Democrats are going to put out there if they get power.
31:49
And that's destroying oil and gas in our state, which would drive up the cost of energy.
31:54
overburdening small businesses with overregulations, which would kill the economy, raising taxes, opening up the border, which just causes pain everywhere all over the state.
32:07
So we tried this under Joe Biden.
32:10
We gave the Democrats a chance.
32:47
what do you think about that

67:32
Mm-hmm.
67:32
Mm-hmm.I could see the side where I don't blame Lane.
67:36
Yeah.
67:36
Like, this is, this is his business.
67:38
He had an opportunity to go to one of the most storied college football programs in history.
67:42
He took that opportunity.
67:43
Unfortunately, he had to leave his team during the playoffs.

25:03
Now, you traveling around the whole country, have you seen that?
25:08
I've seen it, John, and the one thing that's a little bit wild to me is that Bill Clinton would be a conservative now.
25:16
If you look at his interviews, at his policies, what he put into law, that would be considered conservative now.
25:23
Barack Obama might be considered moderate now.
25:27
The Democratic Party has gone so far left.
25:31
We are inching towards socialism.
25:33
And we all know that once you become socialist, it turns into communism.
26:03
Otherwise, why come to America?
1:17
Well, Mark Textera, Tex, give us a reading about how many states have you hit in the last few weeks?
1:25
Well, first of all, John, it's so great to be with you, and I'm so appreciative of everything you do for our country.
1:31
I've been busy, so just this week alone I've been in Florida, back in Texas, now in New York and New Jersey the next few days.
1:38
I'm going to Montana and then Utah.
1:41
And so I've been traveling the country this summer just trying to raise money for candidates that need it to get us over the top, to make sure that we keep the majority in the House, and also just spread the message of common sense politics versus crazy all over this country because we have an opportunity to keep the House.
2:00
If we do not, it's going to be chaos in Washington, D.C., and America needs a strong Republican Party to keep this nation on the right track.
3:47
Otherwise, why come to America?
3:50
You know what, John? My grandfather, Stanley Gordon Teixeira, came to the United States at 18 years old from South America.
1:36
Well, Mark Textera, Tex, give us a reading about how many states have you hit in the last few weeks?
1:45

You know what, John? My grandfather, Stanley Gordon Teixeira, came to the United States at 18 years old from South America.
9:49
You know, CD21, what issues do they care about that you're going to take to Congress? And maybe what's so beautiful about your district? What do you love about it?
9:56
First of all, it is the most beautiful district, objectively.
9:59
Objectively.
10:01
It's the most beautiful district in the state of Texas, right there in the heart of the hill country.
10:05
You get parts of Southwest Austin, you get parts of Northern San Antonio, New Braunfels and San Marcos in between, which are just awesome places.
10:13
And then you've got the hill country.
10:14
You've got Kerrville and Fredericksburg and Bernie and all these gorgeous little towns.

What was your thought as you were watching all this play out? You must have had some opinions.
18:00
Yep, total disaster, PR disaster for the league, PR disaster for the Giants.
18:06
These players were just expressing their Christianity.
18:12
They were forced to do something that they didn't want to do.
18:15
Why do we have Pride nights anyway? I played in the major leagues for 14 years.
18:21
We play 162 games a year.
18:23
We don't have these conversations.
Jackie HeinrichCORRESPONDENT
21:52
But what do you say to Republican critics who have an issue on some of this mail-in ballot stuff and argue that federalizing elections infringes on states' rights?
18:00
Uh, what was your thought as you were watching all this play out? You must have had some opinions.
18:03
The, yep, total disaster.
18:05
PR disaster for the league.
18:07
PR disaster for the Giants.
18:09
Um, you know, these players were, were just, um, expressing their, uh, their Christianity.
18:15
They were, they were forced to do something that they didn't wanna do.
18:18
Um, why do we have Pr- Pride Nights anyway? Um, I played in the Major Leagues for 14 years.
21:55
But, uh, what do you say to Republican critics who have an issue on some of this mail-in ballot stuff and argue that federalizing elections infringes on states' rights?
29:54
Did you know him before you decided to jump into politics? Do you go to a guy like President Trump and say, what do you think? Do you think it would make sense for me to do this?
30:03
No, that's not exactly how it works.
30:06
But President Trump and Governor Abbott are both endorsing me because they know I'm going to be a great representative for the people of Texas 21.
30:14
And I've proven it on the campaign.
30:17
I mean, I basically had a five-month interview.
30:20
And so I've been crisscrossing this campaign.
30:22
I've are this district.
32:00
So going there with that in mind, What can you tell the people of Texas 21 and also those watching and listening around the country right now why you're going to make a difference in Congress? Is it because you're not thinking in the back of your head, how can I enrich myself? Because I think a lot of people do do that.
