29:52
until Sunday, I think.
29:54
Yeah, and that's okay, because you have to understand it's a long game when it comes down to it.
29:59
You have to be creative, and you see teams that have that ability to be creative.
30:03
The Braves brought in Sale to finish the game last night.
30:06
You're going to have to be creative in that sense, and Craig Stammen has a good feel for that.
30:12
They're going to have a plan.
30:14
And it's going to have to be executed.
33:32
How big a deal for Walker Buehler? How important is it for a guy that's made for the moment? It's not too big for him, which it could be very well on Saturday.
4:00
Exciting times for you, especially jumping up to get to the big leagues.
4:04
Yeah, Bill, it was magical.
4:07
Like everyone else's story of having your first day in the big leagues, you feel like someone's going to tap you on the shoulder and say, I'm just kidding.
4:16
It really becomes that.
4:18
I worked my tail off, just like everybody else does, to get to that point.
4:22
And you never know what's going to happen when you get to the big leagues.
4:26
That was the year that Joe Torre actually got fired with the St. Louis Cardinals early in the season.

7 MINS LATER

11:23
Why do the Cardinals play so well on the road?

24:15
What in your mind has gone wrong?
24:18
Well, I, I, I mean, you gotta be careful of saying what's going wrong because, you know, you, you get swept with the Philadelphia Phillies.
24:26
Uh, Ronchi, we know how important it is for the Philadelphia Phillies.
24:30
Uh, they're expected to not only go to the playoffs but also, uh, be a potential, um, a challenger against the Los Angeles Dodgers, who everyone expects to be there.
24:40
So, uh, that series didn't surprise me.
24:42
It just hurt the last- The last, uh, game of the series, and the way they lost that game was really devastating and kind of put a tone onto that, that road trip.
24:54
Um, but then when you play the Baltimore Orioles, this is a team that really struggled at the beginning of the year.

8 MINS LATER

32:44
[laughs]
24:57
What do you think about what he's doing at the plate right now and how he's really adjusting to the league having made an adjustment on him?
25:04
Yeah, I think the second half last year really taught him a lot.
25:07
And Leila, I say this, it's easy to do really well in the big leagues and feel good about yourself.
25:14
When you struggle, you learn the most and you learn what you don't want to do again.
25:18
And I think he's put himself in a different position.
25:21
I think the World Baseball Classic helped him with his confidence.
25:25
I think there's a lot of aspects that when he's playing the game, that whole team feels different.
29:18
What can you say about just how he's embracing this season?
6:37
Mm-hmm.
6:37
And that's what you have to do.
6:38
You have to try to do it.
6:39
It's a standard for the Cardinals.
6:41
The, you, you guys understand Cardinals-Cubs means a lot, there's a lot different.
6:46
There's a lot riding on this.
6:48
Um, no matter where you are on the standings, it always has that pressure.

7 MINS LATER

13:28
His story about how he's gotten to this point in his career and had to overcome some resilience and some setbacks, what can you say about just how he's embracing this season?
ChrisHOST
4:04
So why did you choose to go again? Can we talk about that? So you've sold...
4:09
Oh, why do we choose it? Go again.
4:11
Um, I mean, a lot to do with this is Natalie, my wife, um, and her role in it.
4:16
Um, basically, um, think one of the things that's not talked about so much is after you've sold yes it was a financially lucrative exit um to the point where i didn't have to work again but i was only 50 50 years old and um really i found myself starting to spiral into a quite a really really dark place because i was just at home and where i was you know the entrepreneur firing on all cylinders and flying around and yes got the nice house and the sports car sports cars you can only drive one at a time but um that's really not enough.
5:09
Do you know what I mean? It doesn't give you purpose really.
5:13
And I had managed to get myself into a place where And it's quite common, actually.
5:21
This is really, really common with entrepreneurs that have had a successful exit.

29 MINS LATER

ChrisHOST
34:34
Okay.
0:00
[upbeat music] Ooh, technology's working.
0:18
That's a good start.
0:18
Good morning, everyone.
0:20
Good morning, everyone, and it's great to be here today.
0:22
So, the next 45 minutes, what we're gonna talk about is innovation isn't just the tech, but it's the discipline to use it.
0:32
So as Oli said, um, I'm the serial entrepreneur.

33 MINS LATER

Jeff WilkinsonAUDIENCE
33:47
Is there a piece of software, an app or something you particularly use that helps prevent staff booking time how they want to to projects, as opposed to how they're actually spending time on projects?
34:00
Yeah.
8:03
Hmm
8:03
... can shorten the games with the best of them.
8:06
Um, but you also look at some of the aspects of the offensive team, and you need guys that are supporting cast.
8:14
I think the supporting cast has been excellent.
8:16
Um, y- you start looking at all the Ty France that just barely made the team, and he's had a really good start to the season.
8:24
Um, I, I, I just think there's the, the main guys, as we know, aren't producing.
8:30
And when you don't do that, you start looking around and you try to act like you're losing consistently at times.

13 MINS LATER

21:13
Yeah
