Are, are you working with a, a university or any other group while you're out in Arizona? Or is this just your own, uh, project you wanna take on?

Yeah.

This has been a part of what I've been doing since about 2014 out that way.

The first one I studied, and, uh, that's the beauty of being a geographer is it's kind of a jack of all trades, you know? I've got a lot of different sciences blended into that, and even economics, and that's what I think is so been interesting about my career these last 30 years is, um, that I do get that blend of meteorology, hydrology, and economics and the impacts of things, 'cause that's what I mainly focus on, how does the weather impact us? So that being the case, Norbert 2014, leftover hurricane, never made landfall, not even the remnants of it, but it came close enough to the southwest that a trough came in, pulled some of that moisture up, and, um, I think there were a couple of lives lost in Arizona.

Um, and then a lot of flooding went up through Nevada.

Um, the, uh, Interstate 15 got cut from a flash flood, um, near Mesquite or somewhere.

Um, and then I was up in St. George.
