And as he falls more in love with her, he starts becoming more and more human again and starts rediscovering his humanity and it sounds really sappy but i it's it's pretty funny and there are some really there are some good jokes in it um so this reminds me a little bit of that but clearly this is a lot more irreverent

Yeah, I mean, like I say, outside of the love story, it's just a case of, it's a roguelite structure.

Davey's just exploring this kind of monster rule, otherworldly dungeon, different layers that you can work through, action RPG combat, you know, trashing lots of different mobs, lots of classic monsters, nothing really on the roster that's particularly... different or you know kind of new uh it just sort of plays around a little bit with the expectations plays around with the the humor in there fights their way through the layers um works towards different gatekeeper bosses works towards the the generals in KOM's army with an attempt to defeat them and get stronger along the way Although, interestingly, for the roguelite structure, although there are some stats and bonuses that you carry over from run to run, every run does start from level one.

And the idea is that although everything else resets, the rate at which you level up increases.

So your XP modifier each time increases.
12:12
So eventually you're just literally whapping through level one really, really quickly because you've like a thousand or 2000% experience modifier each time.
12:21
So that's kind of the core progression loop.

How does combat work here?
