Can you tell me about that? And how proud are you for him just doing something like that off the back?
3:55
Yeah, he's a very humble guy, Maxi Burgess, and it was something that I only found out about through social media as well.
4:03
But I think it just sort of sums up the person that he is and it sums up why he's leading this team as well.
4:08
He's very selfless and he's just a genuinely good person.
4:12
uh you know acts like that i think um you know why he's in the place that he is as a player and as a leader in our team and i think it sums up the i guess the people of newcastle you know i think there's i think it's a common theme i think anybody in newcastle would have done it especially to go and help out support the knights when they were doing so well so like i said i think it speaks more to the person than than the player but that person makes the player max is
4:54
But is it fair to expect that with this new group of players that you have the same level of success? Or what's your objective for this season?
5:03
Yeah, absolutely.
5:04
We want success.
64:09
The last World Cup we finally got out of the group, but 2010, 2014, 2018, those three that you're involved with, which one do we leave most on the table there? Which one do you reckon has the most regret with it that we didn't do more with what we had?
64:25
I think probably 2018 because 2014 was good.
64:28
We had a lot of new players, not new players, but we had a lot of fresh faces coming through.
64:32
I think Ange was really trying to re-establish the national team at that time and Obviously, the 2010 World Cup was the back end of sort of as we speak about that golden generation.
64:41
So a lot of new players coming in 2014, which was good.
64:45
I thought we played some very good football, but it was disappointing.
64:47
But I think 2018, we had a lot more established players in terms of international football, you know, who had been around the traps, I guess you'd say, a little bit more.
65:50
It's just, Another wonderful example of Australian football and it's self-sabotage, but we'll move on from that, shall we, Nilsie? What's it like being in camp? Do you go stir crazy as a player?
