About halfway through The year of 19, there was a call from Canada for radiation therapists.

They had a huge shortage of radiation therapists and there was an opportunity to go.

So I had to sit an exam to have my qualifications recognized in Canada and it was a very intense exam.

It took six hours, but I passed and myself and my then fiancee, now wife, went to live in Canada.

And we went to live in London, Ontario.

Susan is a schoolteacher, so she had finished her degree by then.
