happy out in that regard it's interesting you said you hadn't played football in nearly 20 years so this shows what the Masters is about it opens up an opportunity it is a recreational sport it's a social sport there is a competitive edge to it naturally enough we're all competitive when it comes to anything to be afforded that opportunity and as you said you never thought you'd see the day you'd be pulling on a county jersey and representing a county

Yeah, like I would have kept myself half right fitness wise, maybe less or lesser than that.

But no, it has been great to be back and be quite honest.

The first couple of training sessions, you were kind of going, why am I here or what am I doing? But when you have the support of the lads and the group, though, that's been there this year, whether you've only finished playing senior, intermediate, B's, C's, whatever it is over the last two, three, four, five, 20 years.

Once you get back into the fold, once you get back into training once or twice a week, sometimes at training there's more laughing than football being played.

But when the seriousness of it gets down, there is a good competitiveness there.

This year it's been great because we've had a 36-man panel.

going to go maybe to Mark maybe to wrap it up for us Dwayne Rooney by the way is chairman and just hasn't arrived with us he may arrive in if he does he does if he doesn't he doesn't that's quite alright but Mark just to hear the stories the yarns the bit of crack that's been had by all of this and that at the end of the day is what it's about I know we touch on the competitiveness and the Gaelic Masters have the motto that's associated with it that you shouldn't stop playing you should still be there and still have those opportunities
