Just if we talk about the, um, the trial data that supports its use and its place then in practice, and then kind of just talking about, um, recent safety reviews of its treatment, uh, where, where do you see avacopan's place in treatment at the moment?

Yeah, of course.

So this is a, this is a hot topic, Ash, as, at, at, at, at the moment, as, as you know.

Um, so, you know, I'll talk, talk about the data and then about the controversies.

So I guess let's go back several very convincing preclinical studies, um, showing the, the benefit of targeting that, um, C5A, uh, pathway in patients with ANCA vasculitis and lots of different groups, um, showing, showing, showing benefit.

Went on to clinical development, passed through phase one, two very positive phase two studies called CLEAR and CLASSIC, and then the phase three ADVOCATE trial, um, that was 330 patients randomized to receive avacopan or basically a, a standard pre- prednisolone taper that looked a lot like the reduced dose PEXEVAS, um, taper.

The clinician could decide whether they gave rituximab or, or cyclophosphamide, and essentially they showed no difference, uh, in terms of remission, uh, at week 26, but then significantly more patients in sustained remission at week 52, uh, in the avacopan arm, which was a 12.5% point difference.

Um, so just, um, just to finish him off, just where do you see, uh, the future going in terms of emerging therapies in vasculitis?

But what exactly is cogongrass?

Paul, cogongrass is ranked as one of the top 10 worst weeds in the entire world, not just the US, but the entire world.

It's a really highly invasive perennial warm-season grass.

It's beginning to green up now.

It greens up early in the growing season, one of the first grasses to green up, and the only warm-season grass in this area of the state or this area, period, that flowers in the springtime.

We look at the scientific name of it, imperata cylindrica.

What does that tell us? The imperata was named after the Italian botanist, Ferrante Imperata.

If you have cogongrass spread in those areas, you can really scorch a lot of your trees with that heavy fire intensity.
