So, James, what happened is first job, I was just a lab tech in the Central Valley and realized that's not where I want to eventually go.

live and then I was offered a really wonderful internship in New Zealand and they were happy because they wanted winemakers with technical degrees there to help them with their Burgoyne industry at that time and then I got homesick and realized I wanted to come back and I wanted to live in a place that I really enjoyed and had an affinity to and wasn't out in the boonies.

So I went to Sonoma County.

I was offered a full-time position at Sebastiani Winery and proceeded to move up the ranks and learn everything from bottling to cellar to how to pump wine, etc.

to lab work.
