I'm curious kind of where what you're pulling from.
26:57
Yeah.
26:58
So I actually was privileged to teach and write some courses, but then to teach some executives, it was an executive level, like an EMBA type school.
27:08
We're looking at what are the leadership theories and how do you choose? And the operating assumption is you have one, it's either a real mess because you've never articulated, or there's one you're drawing on, even if you don't know where it came from.
27:20
Let's surface this so you can be more articulate about it, which actually means you'll be a better communicator.
27:25
People will know what you want because you know what you want.
27:28
You know where it comes from.

I would imagine if someone's been in a role for 20 years, they're probably like kind of like have a personality of know-it-all oh yeah i know what i'm doing i can i can hand it off to like these three people and i don't really need help do you see that we see
11:13
uh we see the i think i can figure it out myself quite often if they're a founder because if they're a founder and they stayed that long and actually grew it into something They kept growing.
11:23
They kept learning.
11:24
They figured out ways to get things done so that I can figure it out.
11:30
I see it faster than other people.
11:31
I see further, deeper, wider than my team.
11:36
To start unpacking that takes some time and it can be a difficult journey for a person.
