Dr. Kirchhoff, why are you so passionate about that project? Why are you so passionate about the Momobile?
11:55
There's a few reasons why I think it's such a great initiative.
11:58
The first is that we do provide some care to those individuals who otherwise may not have care.
12:06
And sometimes that can be life changing.
12:08
Obviously, I've talked to some of my dermatology colleagues and they're saying, well, it's not the gold standard of care.
12:13
We're not able to do surgery in the mobile.
12:15
We're not able to do biopsies.
15:22
You know, do you see AI changing the way skin cancer is detected and diagnosed in the future?
25:14
yeah from from what i understand this is a an australian brand i've never heard of wild child before so i have to assume that this is a an australian brand that is bought and paid for by australians and we have our own we have our own supply chain we have our own supply
25:30
that's exactly it i'll just uh maybe i'll just explain to your audience what spf is because i think that's an important concept to understand some people don't really understand what sun protection factor spf means So basically the number that you're looking at on the bottle refers to how much longer you can stay out in the sun without turning red.
25:49
So if you normally turn red after one minute and you use an SPF 50, now you can stay outside for 50 minutes before you turn red.
25:57
And so the big issue here is, you know, you're putting on something that you think is an SPF 50 and it turns out to be an SPF 4 or 3 or 2.
26:04
And so you're going to get a lot more damage to your skin in a faster time period.
26:08
And so that's the concern here.
26:10
In this situation, it looks like there's a contract manufacturer that was commissioned by a whole bunch of brands in Australia.
26:52
And when you say pharmacy, are you talking behind the counter or are you talking just the stuff that's on the shelf?
