If you duplicate this for another critical mineral, will you keep it in the same company?
2:08
Yeah.
2:09
So, I mean, Re-Element was a business we started underneath American Resources.
2:13
American Resources is still in 17% of it.
2:16
We are multi-mineral, multi-feedstock.
2:19
So the facility we're building in our Marion plant is four production lines for a wide spectrum of products.
2:25
So germanium, gallium, there's one production line, yttrium, gadoliniums, zirconiums, and other from recycled materials.

9 MINS LATER

11:29
Can you tell me a little bit more about how you achieved that goal and what you're doing with it?
0:21
Tell me what this is and the excitement around this.
0:24
Yeah.
0:24
So CMI is probably one of the premier associations within the critical mineral space.
0:30
I mean, if you look at the pedigree of their team, it's pretty impressive.
0:34
And so for American Resources, it's a really opportune time to join.
0:39
And having the access to data and relationships that CMI has and the events that they throw are really important.
0:46
I think one of their premier events is in Toronto.
2:12
And I imagine this industry that's really still sort of growing can be successful as well.
0:24
So let's get an update on where you're at and where you're going.
0:26
Yeah, absolutely.
0:27
So it's been a good journey as we continue to expand commercial output out of our Noblesville, Indiana facility, which is about 45 minutes south of Marion.
0:38
We've been building out Marion and getting everything in place for almost three years now.
0:43
So the section that Re-Element has leased out of the building has been fully renovated for a period of time now.
0:49
And now it's about just building out capacity.
0:51
So we're building four different production lines there.
1:50
A lot of the time is you're building it as you get someone as well, because you're able to do this quite fast, correct?
1:06
So tell us what you have right now and what this will lead to in this expansion.
1:10
Yeah, absolutely.
1:11
So we've been aggregating batteries, lithium ion batteries, mostly focused on LFP.
1:16
And there's a strategic reason for that.
1:19
One, the NMC market's a little bit crowded.
1:21
Two, we believe we're the only ones that can economically monetize the entire value stream of LFP.
1:29
And so we spent about five years looking at technology and people would say it's crowded right now in the battery recycling space.
2:07
Is there something about that that works well with what you already have in place?
