was 12 and I've always worked like that as well my mum always made me work so I had a paper round I worked in a restaurant washing dishes which I absolutely hated I was like a kitchen potter but also then after that when I got to a mature enough age I was serving the plates and stuff and it was in the local area in Trenen it was a restaurant called the Tranmere and I absolutely used to hate it when people came in I knew I was really embarrassed but I always got my paycheck I remember it Charles Stamper that was the guy that owned it and I always remember his big fancy signature and I always remember looking forward to how much I was getting and I always wanted to make at least £140 a fortnight and I was under 16 I was all that money back there as soon as I got my money I was straight into the town straight into like the G-Star shop or whatever it was and I was buying a pair of diesel jeans or replay jeans or G-Star jeans and I always loved it because I always earned my own money and I think that stuck with me my whole life I've enjoyed having a pound in my pocket and now in this day and age it's all cards but I always like to have money in my pocket whether it's a fiver or 50 pound or whatever it is it's just good I've always had that installed in me since a young age so I got sacked through, I've been sacked through most jobs that I've actually had funnily enough I remember so the Tranmere job will go back to that one so I got sacked because my shift was on a Friday after school and what do you do when you're 14, 15 year old after school everybody meets at the football pitch and plays hot ass or finals and you're all playing with each other with your kids pals but I had a shift at this restaurant that I hated so I phoned in and told them I had a migraine I wouldn't even make it and this was before mobile phones obviously so I was meant to be starting at 1 so straight after school straight to work but I phoned in I wasn't making it I was at the Astro playing football well the boss has phoned my house to see how I was feeling they were really busy if I'd be able to make it in that night So my mum's picked up the house phone.

Whoever's on the side of the phone's went, hi, can I speak to Mark, please? Oh, sorry, he's at the AstroTurf playing football with all his pals.
6:01
Who is it? And they're like, well, that's fine.
6:04
So then I was told not to go back.
6:06
So that was the first job was sacked.
6:08
I don't think I got sacked for being a paper boy.
