It really starts to be, what does it mean to be intentional about the witness of the godparent?

Well, and you talk about the cultural aspect and historical aspect.

One of the myths, actually, it's still...

I'm surprised by that it lives out there.

There's this thought that the godparent would be the one responsible for raising the child in the event that the parents passed away.

And there is no legal binding agreement here for those that you would choose to be godparents.

And I think also...

Like when you would choose a godparent, if you weren't there, who would you trust to make sure to at least check in along those milestones to make sure that the child is being raised in the faith?

So how do you situate yourself in relationship to the multiple disciplines and fields that your work speaks to?

That's a great question.

I feel like this is the question that you're asking before you go on the job market when you're a grad student and you've got to figure these things out.

I did an undergraduate degree in education and went to teacher's college and was teaching during grad school at the high school level, the intermediate, senior level.

And then I did a master's in history, in social history, Caribbean social history.

And I was just massively disappointed by the entire discipline at the time.

And it was one of those things where even if I wanted to study hip hop, Nobody would take it seriously and nobody would advise that.

And whether or not there is as much interaction between those two, at least explicitly, as there could be.

So kind of let everybody know kind of why the 1500cc.

Well, once again, obviously, we're trying to build this thing for a bunch more power than what you're making technically speaking right now so we stepped it up a little bit and of course it used to be the big fear was oh i can't put a great big injector in it because it won't drive good you know it won't be good at low low rpm low load light throttle that's the beauty of of course today's injector and especially what we do with our injectors i mean we definitely do some different things with them but the key is is really getting a good And everybody talks about flow matched.

I mean, that's a very, very small part of it.

But getting good balanced injector data as well.

You know, having all eight injectors or four or six, however many you have, having them all act the same is very, very, very important.

And what I mean by act the same is at a certain voltage, at a certain pulse width, they all flow the same amount of fuel.

So it's... and and getting the voltage the on off times on the injectors all those types of things is extremely important when we test the set of injectors we actually do it three times before they go out the door so the first go around we have large batches of injectors we do all of our modifications to them and everything like that we flow them and then we put them in large batches They're all matched within probably at that point about 5% or something, which is probably better than what most people do, but they're kind of batched like that.

So in a system like we're building here, what do you recommend for line size and then kind of why that direction?

So let's hear about our gospel coming up for this Sunday.

Well, I really love that we, beginning on Wednesday with Sunday Dive and Katie Patrizio from 8 to 9, Deacon Randy on Thursday mornings on the Catholic Morning Show, and then somebody comes in.

Most often we try to have a priest come in and just help us prepare for the upcoming Sunday readings because, as we all know, sometimes we get to mass and even though we have the best of intentions that whatever might be distracting us whether it's in our own life or the family is sitting in front of you that might be struggling to wrangle a child or you know we can just become distracted that If we take some real intentionality to prepare ourselves for the word of God, even if the homily is not that good, you can draw something from it.

Of course, the Eucharist is a source and summit of our faith, but the word of God is there to nourish us.

And that's particularly what this gospel passage from Matthew, I think, highlights for each and every one of us.

And, you know, from chapter 13, verses 1 through 23, if you get the full gospel reading, there is a shorter version that some parishes might decide to use.

But the disciples approached Jesus and asked him about why he spoke to them in parables.

Is that another way to put what you're getting at?

But I'm curious, like, what do you feel that you see someone this young that's just, like, exploding onto the scene?

I am excited.

I mean, really.

When you see what's coming out, like, do we need a Masters of the Universe film? You know, like, you need to be trying to light a spark in all these properties that these studios own, and then...

Just seeing that over the last few weeks, the two highest grossing movies, one is I haven't seen Obsession and I have been not looking at things about Obsession because I want it to be a complete surprise.

I will see it in the near future, but I just haven't.

But I, I do wanna ask, is Canada safer with these results so far? Chief?

Um, so obviously first of all, thanks for, for offering the invitation to come and speak on behalf of, uh, of Chiefs of Police for, for the province of Ontario.

Um, you know, any gun that, uh, that we can take off the streets, um, will make our communities safer.

Um, you know, the purpose of this program, um, to remove and to identify long guns, um, assault-style firearms, um, which generally are sort of connected to school-related shootings and those types of events, um, we want to ensure that those types of guns and firearms, um, are removed from, from our communities.

Is our community safer? I think there is other areas of gun violence and, and criminal activity that are occurring in our communities, uh, that maybe fall outside the scope of long guns, and I think as police leaders we've really tried to bring attention to those issues.

The propensity for handgun, um, shootings that are occurring, um, in our communities, particularly some of the large urban centers, that are really having an impact.

We're also starting to see, uh, some of those crimes disperse out into some of the smaller-

Where does that put police and your services in terms of enforcing this in reality?
