Mark Brennan

Fictional character

Oct 11, 2026

42:50
Wow.
42:50
We're looking to find cheap opportunities.
42:52
What you'll see in, in the first quarter is we've announced that we're gonna publish a PEA with the new resource, uh, as well as mine life.
42:58
And what we're really hoping for here is a step up in our production, um, as well as a, a, uh, increased mine life, um, with the same type of all-in cost, um, for, for, for, you know, without diluting our shareholders.
43:12
That's the, the critical element that we have.
43:14
So from that regard, I think that between now and the end of the year, um, and certainly before the end of the first quarter when we see the PA, P-PEA published, uh, we're, we're gonna see some, some significant changes to the, to the, uh, the way that I think that the company is perceived on the gold side.
43:30
Um, we love the critical metals.

54:27
Maybe, uh, Mark, can we round things off just, uh, you know, key catalyst by asset? Maybe you could just tell for each asset, what's the next key catalyst you think is most important for investors to say, "Okay, things are moving along at this asset"? Maybe just go through the three.
3:05
Mark, my friend, you have the floor, sir.
3:07
Thanks, Cube.
3:07
Okay, so Kynop Bridge is only a six-month-old company.
3:12
It was born on February 1st this year.
3:15
And so I'm a software guy.
3:17
I work in the Salesforce universe, and I've had a Salesforce systems integrator company.
3:22
This is my third one, but I've been doing this for a long time.

21:30
So how did that even happen, and why was this asset available so cheaply?
21:35
Well, again, I, I think at $1,700 gold it may not have been as cheap as, as it looks today.
21:40
Um, you know, the, the fact of the matter is that, uh, Argentina, um, you know, obviously has rampant inflation and, and probably the most significant component of that is labor costs.
21:48
And so, you know, we run 60 to 70% of our costs are labor.
21:51
So, uh, when, when, uh, labor is very sensitive to inflation, and, and, uh, so, so it makes it very difficult to, to have profitable operations in Argentina.
22:01
Um, anyway, that said, uh, the asset was owned, um, by, by a, a company, uh, an exploration company up until 2014.
22:10
Um, and then at that point, a group of, of, um, a consolidated group of 18, um, white product manufacturers, um, th- they, they bought this asset, uh, really at the instigation of the government that said, "Listen, you know, you're, you're ex- you're, you're, you're exporting US dollars to bring in parts and, and, uh, equipment so you can put it, assemble it in Argentina.

Um, maybe you can walk me through what exactly, uh, you see as, as the-- What's, what's the biggest focus of your non-production work right now, right? So if we set, you know, mining ounces aside, what's the biggest push right now?
1:01
So from a high level, give us the skinny on how things went operationally in Q2.
1:07
We're pleased.
1:07
We're very pleased.
1:09
We're starting to find that we're now kicking in on all cylinders, particularly at the heap leach operation, which accounts for the majority of production.
1:16
So that operation is running well in the first and second quarters.
1:20
Towards the earlier part of the quarter, we had some issues with water that we've kind of resolved.
1:25
So, you know, frankly, we're running on all cylinders right now.

11 MINS LATER

12:53
Maybe give us a Lagoa Salgada update.
94:36
So how do you see the commodity exposure changing over time as well?
94:40
Yeah, I mean, great question, Scott.
94:42
And really what we're looking at is, you know, the focus that we have is as a junior company, we're really focused on cash flow.
94:49
That is our most important element and cash flow per share.
94:52
That's a very important metric for us.
94:54
So what we're looking at is to find the best assets we can, that we can drive the most cash without, while we have the technical competence and the financial stability to drive the projects.
95:06
So initially, Argentina, if we were to go down in the common cycle that you see on this slide presentation, we have Argentina producing 100% of our cash right now through gold predominantly.

101:45
Can you just walk us through what the major permits you'll need for Portugal and Montsourcier and the timelines that typically occur with those types of permits?
7:35
So unpack this acquisition and what the rationale was.
7:38
Well, I mean, I think that we've seen some historical studies that have talked about a consolidation of this whole region.
7:45
And it was very compelling to us.
7:47
And so when we started developing Escondido and Calandria, you know, we started with Calandria Sur and also Calandria where we are now.
7:56
And the fact of the matter is that we saw three or four other areas of extreme interest to us where we could grow a long-term, substantial population.
8:05
a resource base where we could see a good long-term profitable operation.
8:11
And so, you know, we are the only ones in this area.

8 MINS LATER

16:33
Yeah.
