Marissa NasutionGUEST
... things that I felt like helped me a lot, or like some things that I've learned in my journey, is that where the older our children grow, the bigger their vocabulary becomes.

Marissa NasutionGUEST
How are you feeling? Because your emotions, the older you grow, become more and more complex.

Marissa NasutionGUEST
What is frustration? What is overwhelm? So you as a parent, you can help your children by having conversations about your emotion.

Marissa NasutionGUEST
How are you feeling? My daughter sometimes says to me, "I feel strange," because you cannot, like, point her finger, like, what is it that she's feeling? Is she sad? Is she grieving? Is she excited? So the more vocabulary you bring to your children, the more vocabulary they have to talk about their emotions, and 50% comes through talking about them in the first place.
