So Misha is a community.

People sometimes say it's a mom group and I'm like, no, no, no, it's very much a community.

I'm allergic to the term mom group, but it is for mothers.

And there is almost two worlds within Misha.

One world for the expecting mom that is really dealing with a whole slew of identity and challenges that are really unique to becoming a mother.

It's a special time and we try to capture that mom at the point of which she's transitioning from pregnancy to her postpartum period because it tends to be one of the most vulnerable life stages for a woman and it's not meant to be a solo walk.

I'm still on it, [laughs] because you, you know, the, the different layers sort of uncover as you climb further along.

But, um, I think for me at the initial onset, I learned a lot about, um, honoring the gifts that I have, whereas before I just was like, "This is what everyone does, and why would anyone wanna pay me for this?" You know, like, "This is just so obvious." And I did Misha for free for years, like, at least two years, and really struggled because, uh, financially we were not doing great, and I wasn't getting paid, but I was putting so much energy.

Um, and knowing that this was what I should be doing, like, I knew, like, this is what I wanna do, but how can you do something if you're never getting paid, right? Like-
