Talk a bit about that, the contours of that deal, and indeed what the message of that deal is sending as you see it.
3:47
Yes, look, that deal is really important for us because it is our first big AMD sort of Helios announcement.
3:55
Clearly, you know, for us, it's the entire AI system, which includes both our networking switch all the way through to software and other hardware.
4:04
But what's really sort of probably taking everybody by note today is the integration of the Helios switch into that rack.
4:12
And actually at the Investor Day, one of my favorite parts of the day was actually, you know, folks seeing this switch.
4:18
It is literally, if you see it, like a work of art.
4:21
It's incredibly wide because this rack is much wider than the normal racks.

5 MINS LATER

9:37
What guidance can you give us? What sense can you give us about the trajectory of that part of the business going forward?
3:12
So how much more do you think that I can continue to power this massive build out affecting your business and others?
3:20
Well, look, we're really optimistic on the outlook for the business, particularly as we see networking, as I mentioned, becoming increasingly much more strategic for data centers.
3:30
If you think about it today, a lot of folks are using digital workers, digital agents.
3:35
Those agents are working seven days a week, 24-7, 365.
3:40
Just think about the pressure that puts on the network because the network has to be up and moving at that pace.
3:46
So you've got a lot of drivers out there in terms of AI that are going to really... you know, help our portfolio and really drive the performance of our business and particularly our networking business, which we're super excited about today.
3:58
And that's some of the great news we announced at our investor conference this morning.
4:23
How long does it take for you to fulfill that order? And are the pieces in place now for you to actually deliver it now? Or is it something you have to ramp up to provide?
1:27
And so as far as customers, how are these customers spending priorities, say, evolving as AI moves from more experimentation to, say, deployment?
1:36
Yeah, as you said, I mean, we're really seeing the evolution of AI.
1:40
I would say in 25, it was sort of like the year where a lot of companies started piloting AI.
1:46
And 26 is the year where we're starting to see enterprises really deploying agentic AI and starting to employ it at scale inside of companies.
1:54
And I'll give you an example, Jenny.
1:55
We're doing that here at HPE.
1:57
And in fact, we recently announced, actually we announced yesterday at our earnings, that we are deploying our own architecture, our own private cloud AI on premise to really accelerate AI adoption inside of HPE.
4:27
So what were really your key levers that then helped drive profitability higher this quarter, despite, again, a pretty major headwind with just rising component and memory costs?
16:17
And so maybe give us some insight into what kinds of AI applications these are.
16:23
The areas for finance that are critically important for AI, I would say starting in the transactional world.
16:31
Honestly, when I was a global controller, I had spent a lot of time with deploying RPA in these areas over a decade ago.
16:40
They're exactly the same areas, coincidentally, where you're seeing generative AI really lean in and have a high, high impact.
16:49
I would say it was accounts payable, a lot of the credit and collection areas, and then a lot of the traditional accounting areas, because this is a lot of sort of contractual analysis that needs to go on that becomes, frankly, as an ex-analyst, I used to do some of this work myself.
17:05
It was taking a contract and going through the terms and just trying to apply it to an accounting standard.
17:09
You can have the AI do a lot of that reconciliation today, all the way into internal audit, whether it's controls checking.

30 MINS LATER

47:42
So what should a CFO do who's listening and knows they need to get up to speed on AI, but they're not sure the best approach?
8:59
Whether it's operational efficiency, invoice automation, supply chain visibility, or cash flow management, integrating technology into organizations is key.
9:09
In terms of what I'm focused on, number one, number two, number three is AI.
9:13
AI is right at the top of my list.
9:15
Obviously, we're in the business of helping companies stand up AI in their data centers and enable AI in the enterprise.
9:23
And as a CFO, I spend a large amount of my time thinking about how – not just thinking, but actually – enabling AI for my own finance team around the world.
9:32
I'm in the middle right now of building an entire GenAI platform to address financial planning and forecasting.
9:39
And in fact, in my organization, we're getting ready for that, for the platform we're building in GenAI by re-engineering the entire process.

6 MINS LATER

15:58
And the strategy is only as good as the leaders who deploy them.
