And especially as you're appearing at the Fontaine this year, it just feels like a very good time to ask, how do you get your competition head on? How do you deal with nerves? How do you put yourself in a place where you can give your best?
12:14
Um, I think it's important to remember that yes, even though one performs as a part of the competition and there are places to win and et cetera, et cetera.
12:27
But for me, it was always about doing my best at that moment in time and remembering all the hard work I put in the studio towards that moment.
12:39
and just connecting with myself with what I worked on remembering not only the technical elements that one tries to perfect in the studio but also connecting with the music like we spoke about earlier because then from a technically good dancer one can become an artist and a true performer remembering that it's up to the judges to make the final decision so not to compare yourself to any other dancers.
13:13
So it's important to just kind of focus on yourself.
13:17
It kind of came natural.
13:18
I would kind of go into my own zone, into my own bubble to redirect my breathing into my muscles, relax, make sure I have good fueling, make sure I have good rest prior to that, good warmup as well.
