Maria, what about you?

To me, Pride is the one time of year we, uh, show out and show support year-round, but in June it's especially important for people that are allies to Allow, like all of our LGBTQ community to really show who they authentically are and not feel like, um, like there's any judgment or, or anything like that around them.

And so it's almost like promoting, okay, this is, it, this is the, you know, their reality and so let's support and, and show love and support, like more so in June than any- but it's 12 months a year to me anyway.

Um, I live in a, a very conservative area of Maryland.

I know when people think of Maryland they think that it's all extremely liberal, but there are pockets of conservative areas, and I unfortunately live in one [laughs] of those.

Or fortunately, 'cause I love where I live, but um, it can be a little challenging at times.

Um, but even in our little county we have three Pride events and they're all really well-attended.
