20:18
... chapter 17, right?
20:19
Right.
20:19
We've jumped a few chapters.
20:21
So this is, Elijah, again, he's trying to redeem.
20:23
He's trying to bring people back together.
20:25
And so he has this solution, similar to what we saw with Nephi in the Book of Mormon, where he thinks, "We need a famine." Like, honestly, I think, I think they get to a point where preaching isn't working anymore, and they're like, "We need hardship." And so he prays, and a famine comes, which means Elijah's life is gonna get a lot harder.
20:40
You know, like, if you look in the verses, it says, the Lord basically says in verse one of 17, "Be it according to my word." He's, Elijah's praying to the Lord, "This is what I need.
23:03
Please.
23:03
So recently I'm studying in the Old Testament, right? Like all of us are.
23:06
And I'm studying Isaac, and he's, he's got this really interesting role.
23:10
He's, he's a well-maker, a well-digger.
23:12
So he'll go into different lands and he'll dig a well.
23:15
And then sometimes his enemies or the people around him take over that well, and he just goes and he digs another well.
23:21
[laughs] And it's, what he does in every place he goes is he creates this connection to a life-giving source, and it's just this remarkable thing to see.

I did too.
