So at what point did you decide that corporate development would be your life's work?

Well, that's a really good question.

I was fortunate.

I was a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Costa Rica.

And I can actually name the point along the gravel road that I was walking between the village I lived in, Santo Tomas, and the village I was doing work ended up being a village.

for all intents and purposes, a women's cooperative.

And I was walking along the gravel road and I had just rounded the corner.
