How did you get there?

Well, In my second year at NASA, I started to realize that working at NASA is great, but I also really liked the idea of having a wider portfolio of research, not just following the NASA's missions, but really working on what I would like to work on and at the same time training the next generation of students.

At NASA, of course, your job is primarily research and you don't have a teaching component whatsoever.

And I really liked the challenge of moving to Missouri S&T also the Missouri University of Science and Technology, which was renamed a few years ago as University of Missouri at Rolla.

actually the other way around.

It used to be the University of Missouri at Rolla, and then it was renamed Missouri University of Science and Technology.

And under the name brand of Missouri at Rolla, it was one of the world's leading engineering schools.
