Could you tell us how you got interested in acting as a child?

Of course I can, yeah.

I, um, born in [laughs] the late 1960s.

You might be sound positively 100, but I promise you that I'm not.

Um, yeah, I was born in the late 1960s, and as a boy growing up in Yorkshire, one of my teachers actually told me that I'd been born backwards.

And I said, "What do you mean born backwards?" He said, "Well, you're more interested in getting your nose in a book than, um, kicking a football about." And I thought, yeah, I was, you know.

So [laughs] e- exactly.

Uh, I wondered how you felt about that and how it was portrayed.
