Andrew GazeHOST
How do they make the decision ultimately on how to put a composite course together?

Marcus FraserGUEST
I think the entry to the golf course for the public, trying to pick the best holes is probably the biggest challenge.

Marcus FraserGUEST
I think there's going to be great holes that you walk past thinking, why aren't we playing that? But I think it just goes into the overall routing to get it to flow really well.

Marcus FraserGUEST
Obviously, the combination of par 3s, 4s and 5s to get a you know, a par 72 effectively, or hopefully, which they have.
Andy MaherHOST
Which of those do you prefer? Which do you think is the stronger, purely in terms of a one-off golf hole? Which do you think is the better of the two holes?

Uh, was it just a matter of time or did some s- s- uh, special things have to fall into place for it to get an Australian Open?

Marcus FraserGUEST
I think it, um, we all kinda, well, anyone who's ever been here knows how unique and how special this golf course, how special this club is.

Marcus FraserGUEST
So I think it was only a matter of time until something happened, and I think it's credit to the, the management and the board that were so patient to wait for the right event, to be honest.

Marcus FraserGUEST
They've had, they've probably had a, I would say at least half a dozen, um, offers of different events coming here, but they've kinda, um, they've held their, their own and they've just waited for the right event.

Marcus FraserGUEST
And I mean, to have an Australian Open, uh, around PK is, is about as good as it gets, in my opinion.

Marcus FraserGUEST
I think it, um, you know, I think to have the guys and the girls out there on, on, on the one course, um, we'll learn a lot about the composite course in tournament conditions, um, from, from male and female sides of the game, I think.
