Can you take us back to the mountaintop experience and tell what happened in your life during that moment, and what's changed for you afterwards?
1:40
Well, it was really, it was like a new beginning for me.
1:46
I was going through a rough time, and I think that's kind of a common theme among people when they hear from God.
1:52
It's He's drawing near to us when we are going through a tough time.
1:57
I was in sales.
1:59
I was totally dependent on commissions.
2:02
I did not have a salary.

9:37
Is there a difference between knowing about somebody and actually knowing them? In your experience, what is the difference between knowing God and actually having a relationship with them? And where does faith move from something we are intellectually known to something that have become?
2:20
I said that was there any particular experience that made you realize that, um, these lessons needed to be shared?
2:26
Well, boy, what one experience? Well, you know, what I shared, and this is in the introduction to my book and how I got the name, the title, Perfect Glory, really was from a time when I was alone in the mountains of the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina.
2:47
God started speaking to me.
2:49
But I, I wrote down everything that-- every word that I heard.
2:54
He was speaking to me in a foreign language, actually, an unknown language, and then he interpreted it for me one word at a time, and then I put, I put it all together to come up with this sentence.
3:06
"If you've experienced perfect glory a few times, let that be your reminder to guard against the evil one who will steal your glory, and you will have perfect glory again and again." Now, that experience happened many, many years ago.
3:23
I didn't sit down to start writing about it for probably 15, 20 years.

11:56
Can you please, um, give us an example and also explain what it means to you?
BlessedHOST
2:13
So Marcia, before we continue, can you tell us a little bit more about yourself?
2:18
About myself.
2:19
Okay.
2:19
So I don't know if you wanna go back to the very beginning.
2:22
[chuckles] I grew up in a family of nine.
2:25
I was the middle, the fifth child in a family of nine.
2:29
And, um, my background, as far as my religious background, was pretty much Presbyterian, very, um...
BlessedHOST
5:25
Wow
GiftHOST
3:21
Can you take us into one of those experiences and share what it's changed within you?
3:26
Well, since I did kinda bring it up, I'll go ahead and describe that experience.
3:32
It was, um...
3:33
Well, my husband was traveling, so I was alone.
3:38
My s- I mean, I had my son, but he was asleep in his room.
3:41
I was reading my Bible for the first time that I had in many years.
3:47
Um, I was curious about the Book of Revelation, so I started reading Revelation.

12:01
How do faith and purpose connect, and how can someone begin discovering what God may be calling them to do with their lives?
MosesHOST
1:34
Can you share a little about your spiritual journey and what shaped your faith?
1:41
Well, my spiritual journey, I won't dwell on my whole life history, but I grew up going to church as a child.
1:54
I got away from the church when I went to college in Washington State.
2:00
Yeah, I mean, I just got away from church.
2:06
I got away from religion, I guess, altogether.
2:10
But I never...
2:12
I always considered myself to be a Christian.

20:48
What role do passion and personal gifts play in discovering God's plan?
AbrahamHOST
7:22
Now the question is, can you take us into one of those experiences and explain how it changed the way you understand or understood God?
7:34
Oh, absolutely.
7:36
Because...
7:37
I no longer look at God as that distant up in the sky, you know? Yeah.
7:44
Yeah.
7:45
And I can't say exactly where Jesus comes in this.
7:53
I am a hundred percent believer in Jesus.
AbrahamHOST
10:06
Now, what happened and what did you take away from that encounter?
