it is like a lot of women who are doing it too like at least in my experience like it's been like 95% women who have been it's

been mostly Yeah, there's definitely like, I think, you know, sometimes we get triggered.

I know that Earl for, you know, a long time, I would be triggered by women, certain women that my own mom issues or my own unresolved, you know, needing to be important kind of a thing, you know, my own unresolved things that I had to really work through.

and also just age and body changes having a hysterectomy like my my priorities have shifted and also i started i was like how can i help like actually help because me yelling or fighting someone isn't helping um and and also people dying like one of my Really good friends who I used to play music with.

He relapsed in 2023, like early 2023, right after I got back from Egypt.

And that really, we used to play music together, all this stuff, like it just really devastated me.

And I was like, I'm not here.

But it's, like, magic is really... you know one of the older definitions of it in like contemporary age is like it's changing consciousness at will like we are supposed to be able to have control over our emotions our consciousness like where our mental state is at if we're so easily hijacked by some random thing some idiot posts online and then we're gonna type like some crazy shit into the abyss like that is not behavior befitting of anyone who is serious about magic in my opinion like

Well,

I, I first want to say, I love that you brought up a new to like first and foremost, uh, because I have a, the book of doors here, which I love that deck because I think it's one of the most like well thought out.

It's if you've ever wanted to connect into ancient Kemet and the Netteroo, who, which is the Egyptian Pantheon, uh, I always say get the book of doors because it's every deity.

And, but I always pull one in the morning to see who I'm working with.

And I pulled newts.

So that's why I said, I love that you said that showing this, this card of her.

And yeah, there's so much transformation that's being asked of us.

If you could just share a little bit about your background with people, I think that they'll be as blown away as we are.

Nice.

Well, what's interesting is right.

Even just looking at the image, right.

I mean, you, you see the people they're standing before each other and I almost, don't you feel that's very symbolic of like kind of humanity right now, like feeling kind of like looking at like observing in this kind of spectacle of a place like individualism.

Right.

But also self-realization.

Right.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah, I think that and just being able to be in the presence of the art and the architecture and then looking and learning about the rituals that would take place and what offerings would be made and to see it carved into the walls and in some cases to be able to actually physically touch or engage with things that have been there long before our time.

and like walking and being in essence, like rising with the sun because we were traveling a lot, like at all kinds of hours, you know, we would be up at like call is 3am, 4am, 2am, you know, like, because we have to get into our next mode of transportation to be at the next place in order to have like alone time, you know, to have private time to see the sunrise, you know, to, walk in silence down the Avenue of the Sphinx at sunset while the Muslim call to prayer was happening.

Like there were these little moments of just Deep.

I don't even know how to explain it.

I'm still, I feel like that trip was December of 2022.

And it probably took me like a year to even talk about kind of what happened, let alone I feel like I'm still processing in some ways, things that you can't put into words.

In terms of bringing this energy of initiation, of the initiation card into the world, what comes to mind for you?

... what, um, what surprised you the most by actually being there, from, from preparing and thinking that you, like, "Oh, okay, I know what I'm gonna do," but then actually being there?

Mm.

I think, uh, the fact that there were, we were really fortunate.

We had some really amazing guides, and we had a lot of private time in a lot of these temples and places.

So having the ability to be in silence a lot of times, walking in procession, being in silence is such a rare thing these days, 'cause there's always noise everywhere.

So we took a lot of opportunities to be in, in quiet ritual.

Um, getting, I got to teach on the Nile.

So using this deck, because we have it in stock, like, how would you like for your consumers to be engaging with this deck and using this deck as a tool, as part of their practice?

Um, to be there, did you have a lot of experiences there that sort of led you on your journey, like together?

I would say, I mean, for me, I've had a lifelong obsession with Egypt.

I really didn't foresee myself being able to get there ever.

Or if I did, I imagined I would be, you know, a few decades.

I would be much...

I kept seeing myself as older going.

And the opportunity came up at a time which I really... a couple of things.

And then having those experience because those experiences sound, really, really cool.

I don't work well with other people,

like, collaboratively.

Or it's very rare, you know? It takes a very special...

you know, connection to be able to do that or in, in just artistically creatively and being in the same like speed, you know, because I get impatient or I get in a zone or I'm not on his own.

And so there's that difference.

particularly for me, it was the process kind of took a while, but like not, not forever.

I think the publishing process has taken a lot longer, but initially Adam had a lot of the imagery first, but he would send me things and he, I'm really good with wording, like coming up with names for things.
